Founder & CEO
Rachana Chowdhary, Founder & CEO at MediaValueWorks, has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the media sector, focussed as a media relations and corporate communications specialist. Having worked on hundreds of brand campaigns across industry verticals and media formats, Rachana is a veteran in the field of PR. She is proficient in conceptualising, connecting, comprehending and building relations with the new-aged businesses. With a wide portfolio of clients, encompassing enterprises, organizations and start-ups, Rachana is versatile in offering strategic and custom-driven communications campaign strategies.
Rachana’s ground breaking service began with The Times of India Group and later continued with the leading Public Relations Agency, IPAN (now Hill and Knowlton). Later, Rachana joined hands with Business Wire India and PR Newswire, taking up roles to lead their business, before sowing the seed for her own venture, MediaValueWorks in 2011.
When Rachana is not busy at work planning media campaigns, she is engaged in grooming the youth and children in her locality, conducting workshops at community level. Rachana is an avid sports lover and a passionate and trained Bharatanatyam dancer as well. Rachana stays in Mumbai, India with her husband and two children.
